Chris Hendricks – Senior Water Treatment Operator

Chris joined the District in 2011 as a Water Treatment Operator II and was promoted to Lead Recharge O&M Worker in 2014.  Chris was promoted to District Safety Officer/Recharge O&M Worker II in 2017 and promoted to Senior Water Treatment Operator in 2019.  Chris has a T-3 Water Treatment Operator Certification and D-4 Distribution Operator Certification from the SWRCB Department of Drinking Water.  Chris oversees operations of the Freeman Diversion and desilting basin, the Saticoy spreading grounds, Rose and Noble basins, and the Moss Screen facility. Chris oversaw the installation of two 30-inch corrugated metal pipes, gate structures, and walkways for the Rose basin so it can now receive surface water. Chris has also worked on constructing all three new communications towers for the District as well as performing several canal bank protection projects. Chris is the primary member of the Emergency Action Response Team for the Santa Felicia Dam.
